Your committee met for the first time in 2021 on 31st July, to put everything into place for what should hopefully be a memorable Adult stock show at Coventry on the 27/28th November 2021. all safety measures will be put in place for this with face masks and hand sanitizes available if required. Exhibitors will be required to provide and remove their own shavings and bedding from their pens. This show will be a free entry for all exhibitors and the club will pay the normal prize money. Rosettes will again be awarded as normal and Mrs Janet Lakin has very kindly offered clocks for best of each colour in the adult stock show. Mr Bob Chappell will donate a prize for the best 2020 bred exhibit.
The sale of the stars will return for the 2021 A.S.S. ran by Mr Steve Germany and Mr Bob Chappell with some top class exhibits already donated. Steve Germany will also once again be running the bonus ball competition for 2022, at £20 a number for the year with a chance to win £50 each month. Steve will be about taking your monies; you contact Steve at the A.S.S.
The club will hold an extraordinary A.G.M.at the A.S.S.to discuses two rule changes that were discussed at committee. If passed at the A.G. M. they will be placed on the ballot paper at the end of the year, which this year be held after the A.S.S. in order that the amendments can be discussed at the A.G.M.
AMENDMENTS ARE: RULE 7. JUDGES;
All judges shall be nominated to judge a national stock show within 4 years of consecutive election to the panel. Failure to do so will mean suspension from the panel for a period of two full years.
BE AMENDED TO READ:
All eligible breeder Judges and non-breeder judges on election to the panel shall be nominated annually to judge the national stock show and national support shows :
THE SECOND AMENDMENT apples to rules for claiming Championship Certificates. That exhibitors having won FIVE first prizes in Adult English classes in which there have been at least SIX exhibits.

Sadly, I have yet again to inform the membership of the passing of another of our life members in Andy Lethbridge from Clackmannanshire in Scotland. Andy was a one of our longest serving members with over 50 years consecutive membership and very active in member in the seventies and eighties until being unable to drive due to age and health. Condolences to his wife Sally and family. On a brighter note we have another Juvenile member in Miss Jessica Germany from Northern Ireland.
